If you are sending your network marketing prospects to your company’s business overview video on youtube, then you might want to consider changing that strategy.
Here’s why it’s a terrible idea to send a network marketing prospect to YouTube…
When you send people directly to YouTube to watch your video — even if you have uploaded the video directly onto your own channel — the platform is full of distractions, negative comments, haters, and trolls.
Beware Of Poachers
Leaders in your own company will most likely have spammed their link in the comments section and are looking to sow the seeds of curiosity to poach your skeptical prospect. They might have a better system and team than you do, your prospect will go join them instead of you.
Autoplaying Suggested Videos
Then there are the suggested videos that play automatically after yours has finished. The next video might be a ‘negative marketer’ that injects doubt, they surmise your deal might be a scam and you should watch their video to find out why. Then they reveal the true purpose of their video is to talk about their deal. People fall for the bait, that’s why they do it.
So when you send people to YouTube you are sending them into a never-never land where you have no real control over the environment to eliminate distractions and keep your prospect focused on your desired outcome.
LinkedIn Articles To The Rescue
Instead, I recommend to either embed your business overview video on your own WordPress hosted blog. If you don’t have your own hosted blog it’s a breezed to set one up on a web hosting company like HostGator [affiliate link] for a few bucks per month. The next best way is to use a LinkedIn Articles page that is free from all those negative distractions.
In made a video a few days ago during which I showed you how to do that. You can watch the replay below or on the direct FB link if it’s not being displayed here due to Facebook forever changing their embed scripts!
Was that cool? Did this free LinkedIn tip help you? Hope so! Again, keep in mind, LinkedIn is a free platform and as such you are playing on rented land. Things constantly change and evolve on LinkedIn.
Up Your Game
IF you are serious about marketing your business it is highly recommended to set up your own hosted WordPress blog. I use HostGator [hostgator affiliate link] for my blog and host multiple domains with them. Use a WordPress drag & drop theme builder like Thrive Architect or Thrive Theme Builder to create landing pages or squeeze pages that can be hooked up to an autoresponder.
IF you appreciate me shooting this valuable video, please show the love by Liking my Success With Ollie Facebook page. I appreciate you and seriously want to help as many people as possible get out of their own way and learn proper marketing to generate top-notch network marketing prospects.
PS: Are you okay with the lack of extra money for paying the bills?
I show people how a part-time business earns enough money to make their bank account bigger and bills smaller. If you'd ever like to know, I'll be glad to show you. Why visit my results page right now?
