The Secret of Successful New Year Resolutions

As we start 2022, I wanted to take a minute and Thank My Teamies! Thank you for being a part of my life and home business opportunity in 2021.

WOW! And what an eventful year is has been surviving the pandemic! It has been my honor to be a servant leader to you and your business, and I am looking forward to us ALL achieving more GREAT things in 2022!!

New Year Resolutions - Goal Setting

Over the festive period I had been reflecting on the goals achieved during 2021.

I have always taken some time to pause at the end of a year to reflect on how things went, my mistakes and shortcomings and make a plan for the coming year.

2022 holds more promise than any year that I can ever remember. So many people are struggling financially right now and many people are also looking for a new opportunity to turn their lives around or get out of debt.

Dream Big, Plan your Work, then Work your Plan.

Done that for decades!!

But so often, as the new year starts, we all start focusing on our New Year Resolutions. Some people will go as far as to make a list.

It’s a positive step, certainly. But the downside being the things on the list are so big and general, that by the end of the year we can’t even remember what was on our list to begin with!

Popular things like, I need to make more money or I need to lose weight this year. How much, and in what time frame and what’s the plan to do it?

But here's the thing, when people are goal setting for themselves the specific details don’t make it onto the big list.

The reality is that New Year Resolutions do not work for most people!

People do not write down their goals for the year ahead either, let alone put a deadline date and time to have realized them by!

My Challenge To You!

This year, I challenge you to throw out the concept of New Year Resolutions…. do not even make those lists! Instead choose one goal… ONE simple goal that is doable for the first month …or even the first quarter of 2022.

You may have heard the Creighton Abrams quote: “When eating an elephant take one bite at a time.”

If you try to carry out too much in one go, in most cases, you’ll simply fall short of your target.

Once you eat the first bite, choose the next simple goal and set a realistic timeline to carry out that goal. By the end of 2022, you’ll be amazed at how far you’ve come if you take one bite, or baby step, at a time!

The more specific you can become with your goal setting, the more likely you will be of achieving it.

As well as having specific goals like "I want to earn £500 per week" or "I will achieve Emerald Ambassador by 1st July" you need a goal for the number of daily and weekly contacts, the number of daily and weekly conversations, the number of weekly sign-ups.

Those activity goals will help you to track and measure your progress weekly and monthly, as well as your retention rate and attrition rate. You’ll know exactly how far you’ve come at any given time, if you’re on track or if you need to “check and adjust” your “daily mode of operation.”

At the company I’m aligned with, the one thing, the one “bite” that will help newbies to the bigger goal is to take ACTION with one of the plans below. You can put either of these plans into action immediately once you’ve enrolled as a Consultant in Newgen here.

I won’t go into the fine details of our three marketing plans here because we like to keep things simple to get people going with the Retail Plan of Action or the Team Building Plan of Action.

You see, people who join our kind of hybrid direct sales/network marketing business fall into three groups, or as I like to call it, "The 80-15-5 Rule."

Meaning, 80% join to earn to extra £200 per month and operate at that level. 15% join to earn a full-time income to supplement their day job or to fire their boss. And 5% want to earn the BIG money.

Here's two earning examples to 1) build a retail side business without recruiting, and 2) for leaders who want to build a team.

Earning Example 1

(Part Time Side Hustle)


Introduce 2 Retail Customers per week and maintain their custom.

Each customer to buy either a month's supply of Superfoods Plus or ProteinMax

Year 1 Income £12,816.00
Year 2 Income £37,440.00

Earning Example 2

(One-Week Recruitment Plan)


Introduce 3 people a week in your first month and teach everyone else to do the same.

Everyone in their first month to buy at wholesale either a month's supply of Superfoods Plus or ProteinMax (or another product with equivalent points value)

Month 1 commissions in bonuses £1,300+ (plus retail profits)

I am focused on the "one-week recruiting plan" because right now there has never been a better time to be leading with the business. So many people are struggling in the pandemic chaos and looking for new opportunities to earn extra income. Besides, it is very easy to pivot a business conversation to find retail customers.

Fact is, we know that people do not usually start building their business the very first day. Some people choose to become a customer first while they learn more about the products and business in our private Facebook groups.

How do you get there?

Finding 3 people a week or even just one person a month is very doable for those with ambition and a “WHATEVER IT TAKES” desire to succeed.

However, thanks to social networks like LinkedIn and Facebook, you don't have to touch your Rolodex, chase people to buy from you, annoy friends and family, or spend money on Facebook advertising or buying leads to be successful.

The system you'd be using works wonderfully on LinkedIn and Facebook and would enable everyone on your team to add a few people every week to their business in less than 1-2 hours a day. And the people that they enroll can almost immediately do the same thing.

You Don’t Have to Be a Geek to Make Money Online

There are 168 hours in the week. On average, 40 hours are spent working the 9-to-5 job, 56 hours sleeping, 35 hours eating, showering, driving etc., which leaves 37 hours free for you to pursue your dream.
