I’m Back on Pinterest (and You Should Be Too!)

I

Hello, my pinning friends! After a ten-month break, I’m excited to be back on Pinterest and rediscovering the joy of those endless scrolls of inspiration. But why the return?

As many of you know, I’ve been pouring my heart and soul into Instagram. But recently, their algorithm changes have felt like a punch to the gut. My reach plummeted, and it seemed like my content was disappearing into the void. It was disheartening.

So, I decided to shift gears and refocus on a platform that’s always treated me well: Pinterest. And let me tell you, it feels like coming home! Pinterest is a fantastic place to connect with like-minded people, discover fresh ideas, and (bonus!) drive traffic to your website, blog, or online store.

If you’re considering diving into Pinterest or maybe just need a little re-inspiration, here are a few tips to get you started:

In-Depth Keyword Research: Pinterest is a visual search engine. Knowing what your audience is searching for is key. Dig into those keywords!

Optimise Everything: Your profile, bio, and boards should all be clear, keyword-rich, and inviting. Make a great first impression!

Create Eye-Catching Pins: Design pins that resonate with your target audience. Think about the colours, fonts, and imagery that will grab their attention.

Pin Consistently: Regular pinning keeps your content fresh and helps you get discovered. Aim for a schedule that works for you.

The truth I uncovered is that Pinterest is all about strategy. But these basic success tips are the perfect launching pad. Don’t be afraid to experiment, analyse what works, and tweak your approach. Checking and adjusting is what I continuously do.

So, are you ready to join me on Pinterest? I’m excited to see what we can create together!

P.S. I’d love to hear about your Pinterest experiences – the good, the bad, and the oh-so-pinnable. Leave a comment below and let’s chat!
